The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 29th May 2024!
Morning all,
We have some solid content out for today with it being much easier to write news updates with it being clear who our new head coach is now!
Enzo Maresca has caused plenty of debate, but the bottom line is I will be backing and supporting him without a doubt, and I explain all of that and why in here. If he is successful that means Chelsea are successful, and a successful Chelsea makes me happy!
The manager process and direction of hire has been odd to say the least though, and I have put my take on what I think happened in here. This is all mainly my opinion really, but I’m not convinced that we didn’t at least try and bring in a more high profile and experienced manager at all.
The Score has jumped on today to give his views on Maresca as well, and he believes it is a big risk, whilst also being able to draw on the positives. Decent read this one in here.
Meanwhile, Luke had his ‘how Chelsea might lineup under Maresca’ article out too, and this setup actually really intrigues me - I really love the idea of Reece James in this role. Check that out in full here.
Check out all your latest Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in one place in the live blog from yesterday in here.
Finally, the big one that would have actually landed in your emails yesterday morning but you can check it out in full here if you haven’t already. Some big sourced transfer updates on Benjamin Sesko, Victor Osimhen, Evan Ferguson, Romelu Lukaku, Tosin Adabarioyo, Lloyd Kelly, Benoit Badiashile, and Michael Olise! Not to be missed this one!
Join me on the live blog from around 8.30am this morning!
Peace, Si.
Morning Si,
Like you I am 100% behind Enzo.
I moaned enough about, a lack of playing style & being poor defensively and conceding, the same goal after goal, last season under Poch
So now, we have a coach who can finally give us those qualities.
Let's hope it works out!
It's got too!!
Was there ever a time Rueben Amorim was in pole position?
Could we not agree terms with him?
Or WAS Enzo always the number 1 target.
