The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Friday 9th February 2024!
Morning everyone,
We can all now go and enjoy a rare nice relaxing weekend off the back of Chelsea winning a game of football and not only doing that, but winning it in style!
There is no game for the Men’s this weekend, so we have a bit of time to recover before we head to Crystal Palace for our next league game on Monday night. It’s a bit of time for us all to just enjoy the impressive 3-1 win at Aston Villa on Wednesday night and soak that up for a bit longer! Game by game we go!
This of course means that the content and comments in yesterday’s live blog was much more positive and created for a very happy place to be! This is also where you will find all your latest Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in one place here.
We also recorded the latest Podcast episode yesterday and myself and Jai had a guest. Danny Windsor is a member of this community and he also wrote a great article for us earlier this week. So it was great to hear his views on the Villa game, Pochettino, the players, and the future in here.
To the rest of the articles now and I had a sourced one out which you can find here. This is on the summer transfer plans and also reveals the asking price for one of our striker targets this summer 👀
I have also written a pretty big deep dive into my current thoughts on Pochettino and the team after the win this week. I don’t think he will work at Chelsea still, but I am an open book, and Pochettino is now at a crossroads and it is up to him which direction he takes. I cover a lot in this one here.
I have three of the lads with me again today and we have had Will Reyner with us a lot this week due to his diary opening up. You can get his latest for us here.
Seun was also back with his deep tactical analysis article complete with diagrams and images unravelling exactly how we went to Villa and won 3-1 this week! Excellent article from Seun here.
And as always, our anchor man Luke Rushbrook is in the building with his latest article here. This is the results of you all picking who you would keep, sell, or loan in this current squad. Some surprises in this one!
Usual drill this weekend, if anything big goes off or anything I need to report or speak on that cannot wait until Sunday, I will jump on the Substack app chat section to report it.
Otherwise, hope you all have a fantastic weekend and I will ‘see’ you all on Sunday for the next article drops and pre-match build up for Palace on the Monday!
Peace, Si.
