The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 12th August 2024!

Morning all!

So, about last night…. That went absolutely wild, didn’t it? I had literally just put out a late evening report with not much in it then everything kicked off. The Samu Omorodion deal collapsed even though it all all done bar the announcement, and Chelsea are suddenly now in for Joao Felix again! Bare with me on this, I’ll have some stuff out on it all very soon! You can’t say it’s not entertaining at least!!

We are smashing through August now and we even saw the return of the English Football League this weekend! Football is back, and the Premier League returns next weekend too!

I was at Stamford Bridge yesterday for the Inter game, and I will be traveling back from London to home this morning so the blog updates maybe a bit intermittent today. Bare with me.

I’ll also be putting my review out for that game very soon with some extra bits of ‘unseen’ things that happened and some other things I noticed. I would have written this up yesterday but there just wasn’t the time to dedicate to it.

Before we get to the rest of the content, Luke has setup the Premier League SPTC Fantasy League!! Make sure you all join in that in here. I will sort a prize out with Luke for the winner at the end of the season, probably a Chelsea shirt or something similar. But it doesn’t matter anyway because I am winning the whole thing 😂👀 Second place prize available if as expected, I kick everyone’s butts.

Pedro Neto was unveiled as a new Chelsea player at Stamford Bridge yesterday in front of my own eyes and some of the rest of The SPTC team! We are excited by this signing, and you can read Dylan’s amazing scouting report on Neto here.

Sticking with the Neto content now, and via sources, I have detailed in here how Chelsea beat other top clubs to sign him and who drive this move in the end. How it all unfolded and how Chelsea kept it stealth, and much more, in this one.
