The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 6th August 2024!
Morning all,
Chelsea’s final game in the USA is coming up later this week on Wednesday, and then we will have the countdown to the new season beginning with just one final pre-season game left to play after that. It’s all coming to a head now as we enter another new season and all climb aboard the latest rollercoaster ride!
We have some transfer window days left yet though through to the end of this month, so any big bits of business that is going to need to be done now, Chelsea are going to need to get a move on…
Could Oscar Bobb be that ‘move on’ ? Did you like what I did there? Came off the top of the dome that one! Chelsea are going to push again for Bobb, but is there a chance of landing him? What exactly is going on there? Well, get the updates on Bobb to Chelsea from SPTC sources as well as the latest on the Gabriel Mec deal in here.
Plenty more going on today of course and I have a big amount of help today with articles from Luke, Dylan, and The Score, which of course I always appreciate!
Let’s go with The Score’s article first but before that, get all your latest Chelsea news, transfer rumours, and anything else going on in and around the club in one place in here. In this is where you will find all the drama of yesterday unfold with the Samu Omorodion and Victor Osimhen situations. I will be putting out what I know on this after speaking to sources last night, very soon. Enzo Maresca also spoke to the media over night but because I am normal and I sleep at night, you’ll have to wait for that when I put it on the new blog this morning! :)
Score has honed in a bit on the Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah situations and how they have been treated by the club. As always, it’s a balanced article from Score and also reassures that selling players for pure profit does not mean we will be getting rid of all our best home grown players. You can check that in full here.
Dylan has been looking at the pre-season games so far after our defeat to Manchester City on Saturday night. His article, ‘what to take away from Chelsea’s preseason inconsistencies’, is well worth the read here.
And Luke is rounding things up for today. He’s looking ahead to the new season that is just two weeks away now (yikes). You can read his article in full in here.
See you all on the latest live blog from around 8.30am on the home page!
Peace, Si.
I cant see city letting alvarez and bobb go in the one window particularly after palmer last season.
Nevertheless Bobb looked a lot better than Mudryck I have to say.
