The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 24th June 2025!
Morning all!
Back from a long weekend away in Spain for a stag do and back to the Chelsea content! I didn’t miss much in terms of transfers, although I did miss a poor performance and defeat against Flamengo in the Club World Cup, and that’s the best place to start today.
Many fans have been getting too carried away with where we’re at and have liked to boast about ‘always being right’. I think the Flamengo defeat might have been a bit of a reality check for some, or at least it should be. I have a big opinion read here on all of that and the situation we are in right now. The foundations are for sure there and there are also many positives from the season, but we need to get it right in the market now to really push on.
I also had two big sourced articles out yesterday reporting and catching up on some transfer news. The goalkeeper situation is one that keeps being played down, but Chelsea are still looking to sign a new stopper this summer. And you can get all the inside info on what is going on there and with Mike Maignan and other target names in here.
The next article from our sources is on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall now being on the radar of Brighton this summer. Chelsea of course have a real interest in Joao Pedro so you never know, there could be a trade opportunity in this story. In full here.
The Andrey Santos situation is another one that has got Chelsea fans heated and debating since over the weekend but really, I mainly just think it’s just one of those frustrating situations where there isn’t necessarily anyone to blame. I’m annoyed he hasn’t had any minutes at the CWC at the moment, sure I am. But he’s in a tough spot at the moment - and you can get the story and my thoughts on it here.
We have all of your latest Chelsea news in the same spot from across the last 24 hours in here. This covers it all, transfer rumours, the lot!
See you all on the next live blog from around 8.30am today!
Peace, Si.
