The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 6th May 2025!
Morning all,
Hope you had a good long weekend, Chelsea certainly helped it!
Our next game is this Thursday in the Conference League return leg where we are already in the final. There is absolutely no chance we don’t go through and if we don’t then we should sell the lot of them and sack the manager on the spot 😅
To the content now and you can grab all of your latest Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here, covering all transfer rumours, quotes, interviews, stats, opinions, and much more!
A couple of sourced articles now and not exactly happy ones. But I will always just report what I hear and what I’m told by reliable people. There’s good and bad news in these as well and it’s certainly not cut and dry.
News on Liverpool having a very strong interest in signing Cole Palmer now. At the moment we don’t think he will go anywhere this summer, especially if we do get Champions League football. But the full details can be found in here.
The next one is on Real Madrid working behind the scenes to try and convince Enzo Fernandez to tell Chelsea he wants to leave this summer. Again, I don’t think it happens and also, they wont pay anywhere near enough for what it might take to get Fernandez out of Chelsea. But as always, I report what I hear in here.
Where do you all stand on Enzo Maresca right now? He is turning into marmite amongst this fan base. Some hate him, some love him. Some are obsessed with him and ‘stan’ him, others want him out of The Bridge right now. But the club have a big decision to make, do they fully back him in the summer? He wants more new signings and experience, so what will Chelsea do? Cast your votes in a number of pills in this here as well.
The Score has an article for us on Maresca today as well, which you can find here if you’ve not read it already.
See you all on the next live blog from around 8.30am today!
Peace, Si.
I assume Liverpool want him as the Salah successor. If we’re even remotely serious we should be able to bat them away. They’re stingy with money and aren’t the enticing project they think they are. Yes they’ve won the league but their team is aging. The finances involved are also so large, I just don’t see how Liverpool cough the money up when they’re so good at finding cheaper alternatives.
