The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 3rd of January 2024!
Morning all,
Chelsea remain unbeaten in the 2024, cheers to that! ;)
The January transfer window goes into day three today, but it looks like Chelsea are going to bide their time with any big moves, at least for now.
However, a striker remains a priority if they can find the right profile and the right price - could that right opportunity be Lautaro Martinez? It looks like he could soon be extending his contract with Inter Milan, or could Chelsea be about to throw a spanner in the works? I have more fresh info on Martinez in here, as well as you guys making your picks on which striker you want to see arrive this month. This is a poll results and sourced info combined article!
What about the future of Thiago Silva? This one has been causing a bit of debate this week on socials, so I’ve got some sourced info on Thiago in this one here, as well as giving my opinion on whether the club should offer him a new contract or not, and asking your opinion too.
To the actual football now, and Chelsea’s 2024 unbeaten record comes under threat for the first time this year with potential banana skins Preston North End coming to Stamford Bridge on Saturday! January presents a real chance for Chelsea to build up some confidence and some real solid momentum, and it’s all about the domestic cups. It’s also going to bring some hugely important fixtures that can shape the rest of our season, and I preview it all here.
Luke Rushbrook enjoyed a bit of time off from the site over Christmas as he spent time with his family - I think we can all allow him that! Luke’s been a legend on this site helping me out and fear not, he’s back today with his latest daily articles! You can catch that here. This one is something a little different from Luke, and I’m also involved!
The live blog was running as normal yesterday as we all went back to normality after the festive period. So that is always going to be the place you need to head to in order to get the very latest Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in one place. Read the latest one here.
See you all on the latest live blog from around 8am today!
Peace, Si.
