Sources: Latest on Osimhen and Toney to Chelsea, With and without Carney and Palmer, Humphreys could save us millions, Vibe shift at Chelsea, Hazard retires, Full news roundups, and much more...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 11th October 2023!
Morning all,
The content continues to thrive on the site this week despite there being an international break, and as always, there is plenty going on in the Chelsea world right now.
January is actually approaching quite fast now and despite a warm few days in the UK recently, the temperatures will soon be dropping and the nights getting darker, which suggests winter is firmly on route.
So with that in mind, lets have a look at the latest on Chelsea’s potential transfer plans for January and in particular, what they are looking to do in the striker department. The intentions remain clear, and I have the very latest on Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen to Chelsea here.
The next article is actually very interesting. When Cole Palmer or Carney Chukwuemeka have started games for Chelsea this season, they have only lost one game and even that game was when Carney went off injured. This is no coincidence, and I explain why with stats, facts, and a video in here.
I spoke earlier this week about how I feel more confidence and belief brewing up inside Chelsea and amongst the players right now off the back of three wins in a row. It is obviously easier to feel that when we are winning matches, but it genuinely feels like we might have hit a turning point, and even the media are picking up on that. An article on the ‘vibe shift’ at Chelsea right now here.
Blues defender Bashir Humphreys is quietly having a very good start to his loan spell at Swansea City in the Championship, and I explain why he could save Chelsea millions next summer in here.
Finally, as always, head to the best place to get ALL your Chelsea news in the same place from across the last 24 hours in here. Do not miss a thing! In this is where you’ll find out all about Eden Hazard announcing his retirement, how that unfolded, and the tributes that followed. I will pen my own full tribute and memories on the legend today.
Right, I’ll see you all on the live blog from around 8am this morning!
Peace, Si.
