As we head into the final four days of the summer transfer window, Chelsea are stepping up their attempts to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli as the priority target for new striker this window.

This has been a big game of poker, and Chelsea are yet to even make a solid play. As we have always reported on here, this was one move that was always going to go down to the wire and the final two or three days. I actually see Chelsea holding out until deadline day and then going all out with an Enzo Fernandez-type move to get it done and over the line.
