The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 16th October 2023!
Morning all,
I hope you’ve all enjoyed your weekend’s and got up to some fun stuff. I played football Saturday and we lost 3-2, but as always, just nice to get 90 minutes!
No Chelsea of course, as painful as that has been. It’s always so dull without domestic football, I’m very pleased The Chels are back at the weekend!
We of course face our London rivals Arsenal, and that game will be super tough for us. Wondering if you’re all feeling confident for it or not? I’m fearful, I have to admit.
We should have Reece James back available for the game at least, but really, should he be risked from the start? I don’t think he should be nor do I think he will be. And I explain why in here.
What about the rest of our injured players? Are some of them any closer to returning? I have a sourced update on 12 players in here on the very latest and when I expect some of them to be back.
Mykhailo Mudryk featured for Ukraine on Saturday and it was pleasing to see that he continued his good momentum that he has been showing in a Chelsea shirt of late. He was direct and positive on the ball, and the confidence continues to come. I speak on all that and more in here.
What is next for Noni Madueke? Our winger was superb for England U21s last week and he is starting to once again show why he was our most impactful and exciting player last season during those tough times at the club. Can he break back into this team and earn a regular starting role? It’s going to be super tough for him, but he’s backing himself. Much more in here.
Roundup all your latest Chelsea news in the same place here to finish off today’s newsletter. And join me on the live blog from 8am this morning!
Peace, Si.
