Sources: How Pochettino directly involves himself in Chelsea transfer deals to get them done

Chelsea have already made some superb signings this summer, and we are expecting even more before the window is out.
Mauricio Pochettino deserves to be backed and given the tools for the job, and it genuinely now looks like he is going to get that.
I’ve heard and reported a lot of positivity on Pochettino as a manager and the effect he is already having on the players, building a family inclusive atmosphere at Cobham and increasing morale and motivation in the camp. There’s no doubt we are already seeing the positive effects of this, as well as his training methods on our intensity, energy levels, pace, and strength. Tactically we are also seeing the positive differences already, and that will only improve more as the season goes on.
But one thing we aren’t really hearing about is the influence that Pochettino is personally having in some of our transfer deals.
The Moises Caicedo transfer saga has had many different parts to it and many different people and reasons as to why it finally got over the line, Paul Winstanley’s relationship with the player himself being one of them. Of course, Caicedo is also a known Chelsea fan and was very keen to join us.
But as well as all of that, I am told that a key part to it was Pochettino speaking to Caicedo and creating a relationship with him early on.
