Sources: Feelings remain good in camp

Club and players are very happy with Pochettino and the feelings are mutual

Of course, on the pitch things have not quite ticked yet and we all know that we must get results. We also all fully expected there to be bumps in the road this season and if you didn’t know that then you should probably start to accept that.

However, we also all know that this is Chelsea FC and we must get results and we must see improvements and move forward. Four points in the first four games is just not good enough, there are no two ways about that.

But we all knew this season is going to be a gelling season really, and if we can challenge for a trophy or two as well then that will be great. I’ve always seen top 5/6 as being most realistic and I know we will have some more disappointments this season. But I also do expect to see improvements and some very good results too. We have seen these improvements even if the results haven’t been there yet.

But despite all of the above, I am only hearing very good things from my top source, who checked in with me this week to give me an update on how Mauricio Pochettino is doing so far.

To be honest, you don’t even need me to tell you this as you would have been seeing from all the comments from the players in the last few weeks and months. They all seem to say the same thing about Poch, that he is a great man-manager and he is building a close-knit squad, which is exactly what we needed from our head coach right now.
