Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is concerned about a couple of areas in his current squad and would ideally like to see them improved THIS month.
Our January transfer plans are all pretty open right now and will as always, depend on other situations. I still do foresee a couple of surprises perhaps from nowhere. But the bottom line is that our SPTC sources have always said not to expect much this month and any big business will wait until the summer.
However, does the desire of the head coach change things? Does Wesley Fofana’s injury change things? Does the fact that players want to leave this month change things? The answer to all of the above of course, is yes, it may well do.
