We have reached the weekend and I am supposed to be going away for it as it’s my Birthday tomorrow. Solly has thankfully picked up after his latest stomach bug so the trip is still on for now! Either way, I am still 25 tomorrow which interestingly seems to be my new age every year these days! Call me Peter Pan. The reality is, Solly has aged me 15 years in 1 year!!

I couldn’t record the latest Podcast yesterday due to Solly being unwell again, but Jai is putting it out today alongside Luke Rushbrook and Danny Windsor! So two top substitutes in for me!

England play tonight! I will have to watch this one back for sure because it’s now Tommy Tuchel’s England! And on this subject, ITV deleted a quote by Reece James saying that Tuchel is the best manager he has played under. The quote is great, but why was it deleted? Check out the quote in full here and some possible reasons as to why it was deleted.

I had a sourced article out yesterday on the future of Jadon Sancho and whether Chelsea are actually planning to sign him or not. There’s some contrasting info about on this one, and even my sources have differing information on this story. But I’ve got a vague conclusion as to what the plans are here.

Meanwhile, John Terry has been speaking this week and it is always great to hear from the captain, leader, legend.

First of all, he appears to back the Chelsea project under the new owners in some quotes you can read here, with my added opinion on it all. Shock horror, he highlights that same issue that I keep speaking about!

But it also appears that Terry does not rate Enzo Maresca’s style of play. Or at least that is what he has indirectly implied in his other comments here. I’ve added a lot more opinion of my own in this one, as well as some recent comments by another former Chelsea defender, William Gallas.
