A lot of Chelsea’s remaining transfer business will now depend on who they sell, and there are many players they would still listen to offers for.
As I have consistently been reporting, Nicolas Jackson is not ‘up for sale’ this summer as such, but neither was Noni Madueke.
If Chelsea get a reasonable offer for Jackson, which we believe to be around £60m, then they will sell this summer. Jackson has interest coming in from Aston Villa, Manchester United, as well as clubs abroad such as AC Milan. There is absolutely a deal to be done for Mike Maignan there by the way, but let’s leave that one for now as that is still all a bit up in the air and Chelsea are considering another late approach for him so it wont be quite yet. I don’t believe Milan would put the money down needed to get Jackson, even if they throw Maignan in the deal.
