Sources: Chelsea still assessing centre back targets with a couple new additions to the shortlist

Some centre back updates now but as always, the type of target we end up getting might depend on Champions League qualification, but it wont be the be all and end all.

What is interesting is that we have heard through a source that Chelsea are never going to rule out signing an older and more experienced player IF they can sign that player under the right circumstances. So for example, if the wages (with add-ons and bonuses) can mainly fit in with our structure and the fee is what they see as reasonable. This project does not mean we only sign kids, it is just the priority direction they are going in, so for the future and signing young before the players become too expensive. But the club are not ruling out signing experience if they believe it is the right profile needed. So this comes in to play for centre backs too.
