The Blues are looking at some options in one particular position

It’s nothing unusual for Chelsea to be scouting around in various countries, and they will have scouts placed around the world of course.

The club have been readjusting their scouting network over recent months and Joe Shields has been heavily involved with all of that side of things.

He’s spent time in South America, amongst other places. But Chelsea have many scouts placed all over the world for long-term and short-term assessments.
