Sources: Chelsea looking at loan-type deal for Garnacho, Sources: Real Madrid 'keep calling' for Fernandez, If you walk from £25m Maignan, you walk from £55m Gittens, Fans vote to sell Gusto, More....
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 19th June 2025!
Morning all,
Hope you’re having a good week so far. Chelsea are back in Club World Cup action tomorrow at 7pm UK time against a tougher opposition in Flamengo. I won’t be around for this game, but more on that today in another housekeeping updates article!
A couple of sourced articles to kick things off today.
One here on Alejandro Garnacho and the noise around him just not dying down. In fact, we’ve heard some extra fresh and interesting info on this one and have reported that in the article.
The next one is on Enzo Fernandez and the fact that Real Madrid are still circling for him this summer. They ‘keep calling’ for him apparently, and we have the full story on that from our sources here.
Back to wingers now, and it’s been reported that Dortmund want over £55m for our priority winger target this summer, Jamie Gittens. If we are being tough negotiators, then we need to be consistent with it, don’t we? And that is way too much for a very unproven and young player, in my view. Opinion article on this and Mike Maignan situations here.
Meanwhile, I did a poll this week on whether you want to sell Malo Gusto this summer and let Josh Acheampong replace him, or whether you want to loan Josh and keep Gusto. It’s a decision that needs to be made, and you’ve made yours here.
Full news roundups from across the last 24 hours can be found here all in the same place!
See you on the next live blog from around 8.30am on the home page.
Peace, Si.
