Nico Williams is an elite talent, if there’s a slight possibility we need to force our way through the front door

Good Morning All,

Today I just want to throw my thoughts in around Nico Williams.

I have been following the player for a very long time as Inused to have a slight Football Manager obsession with his brother.

When Nico broke into the first team at Bilbao I was really excited and he has upped his game level by level year on year.

All he needs to do is to become slightly more consistent with in the final third and we will be talking about one of the best wingers in world football, if we aren’t already.

He really has everything to his game on both feet, he has the ability to take a defender to the byline, bring him inside or even trick his way through him.

In the Euros final he showed the world a glimpse of what he can do, his trickery, flair and creativity were on show but there is far more of that in his locker than he showed on the day…… THAT is how good he is.

If there is a door slightly ajar Chelsea need to smash their way through it to get this one done, he is everything Enzo Maresca wants in a winger and more!

I’m a huge Michael Olise fan, like massive fan. But if you’d have asked me if I can only sign one of the 2 for Chelsea it’s Williams all day.

I believe his ceiling is ever so slightly higher, his ability to play on both wings and use both feet is excellent and suits Enzo Maresca down to a tee.

These are just my thoughts and something I do feel strongly about.
