The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 28th March 2024!
Morning all,
We are now approaching April, and the summer is within touching distance. In the UK, we imagine BBQs, sunsets, beer gardens, and paddling pools in the garden. But the reality is rain, wind, storms, and one week of the above aforementioned activities at the most! Even still, what summer means for us football fans is the end if the season, and that end run in for Chelsea starts now!
Chelsea will need every single one of their players in the squad to fully step up now and find the best form they have found so far. We can still win a trophy, and we can still finish in a reasonable league position, but it’s going to be tough work. That’s why it’s pleasing to see another international break end with some of our players continuing good form and momentum, and Mykhailo Mudryk was one of them. I have an article on Misha here to kick off today’s proceedings.
Noni Madueke is another who has hit a nice bit of form even if his game time has been on and off, and also his overall form this season. But he was stat padding once again for the England U21s this break, and I have an article on him here.
And going back to the pending summertime, it also means THE big transfer window which is open throughout. Chelsea still have a new striker on the agenda, amongst other positions, and I have given my opinion here on why we need to be looking to sign competition for Nicolas Jackson, rather than another £100m+ player who will bench him.
Sticking with the summer transfer window, Luke is rounding up the articles today with his summer transfer plans and what he would do if he was in charge at Chelsea. This here also has his predictions on what he thinks will happen.
And of course, the latest live blog was running yesterday and I have all your latest Chelsea news in one place here! The horrible news in this as well about Romeo Lavia being out for the rest of this season.
We have the latest Podcast out later today with myself and Jai, and I’ll have the live blog running from around 8.30am as normal today! See you there!
Peace, Si.
