good afternoon ladies and gents,
At the minute there isn’t much else to talk about other than the ongoing managerial search.
Multiple reports today have stated that Chelsea are down to a final 4 man shortlist, a shortlist that consists of Kieran McKenna, Enzo Maresca, Thomas Frank & the mystery candidate……who is now reported to be Roberto De Zerbi.
Ornstein and Fab Romano are still yet to confirm anything though and while that is the case nobody can be ruled out, unless already ruled out.
Realistically I don’t understand why we would be waiting until next week if these were the only 4 candidates we wanted to pursue, they have all finished their respective seasons and bar speaking to their clubs for permission there is nothing stopping us from advancing in discussions with any of them.
I believe the reason the search is dragging out slightly is because they are waiting to speak to Ruben Amorim and put the feelers out to him and his camp, it’s a respectful way for both sides to proceed as Sporting play in the cup final tonight and that has to be Amorim’s priority.
My overriding feeling after the weekends briefings and contradictions will be that either Roberto De Zerbi or Ruben Amorim will be the next Chelsea manager, as always these are just opinions.
if you look back at each capital later at the start of each day paragraph you will be able to see who my first choice is out of the reported managers linked (excluding Xavi).
Thanks for reading!

Yh I’m sure the search would be over if it was just them 4 in the list and why would it be taking so long ? Only way I see it is like you said they are waiting for Amorim
Interesting briefings. Smoke screens - maybe not coz Si confirmed meetings with these potential 2 out of 4. Intriguing stuff really!!
