Michael Olise is a MUST!! We need to do anything we can to sign him!

I am over this spending large BUT Olise is special....

Good evening Ladies and Gents,

The title says everything about this opinion article, I absolutely LOVE Michael Olise, I was gutted when the move broke down last summer and I am praying we get this done this summer and QUICK!

I am so over the large spending and dropping large sums of money on players, the smart/efficient signings get me more pumped and excited these days but Michael Olise is a truly special talent and one we should be doing all we can to sign!

I know people will say we are stacked in attacking areas and that is true, BUT the likes of Raheem Sterling doesn’t have a long term future at the club and it has been well reported if we continye to sign attackers he will consider his future, I also believe that noni Madueke should be no mare than a good rotation/bench option moving forward, he’s a good player and had a good end to the season but IF we are to start challenging for the top 4 and higher again ANYTIME SOON, players like Olise need to be at the forefront of it. Madueke would be good rotation for him in my view.

Cole Palmer will move in field this season for sure, he played there in the City U21’s under Maresca and it has been reported that he will do the same moving forward, we must remember that we already have a MINIMUM of 53 games next season with the potential to reach around the 70 game mark. ALL players in the squad will get minutes and appearances under their belts.

Lets bare in mind Olise had a couple of injury issues last season, which he has now overcome. Look at these statistics against all attacking midfielders and wingers in Europe’s top 5 leagues last season;

Some of these stats are frightening, in a hit and miss Palace side who had an excellent last 2 months of the season. He is so direct, so creative and aware. He can turn games on their head and really grab them by the scruff of the neck.

Look at some of his shooting and passing stats, they are crazy!!

It is just extraordinary how good he is and he is only 22, there is so much room to grow and improve further. His creativity and directness suits the way Enzo Maresca wants his wingers to play to a tee.

People who label him injury prone are incredibly harsh, before this season he had only missed 2 games through injury for Crystal Palace, this season he did miss 21 games through injury but that was a recurring Hamstring injury which has now been resolved.

As you can all tell I am a MASSIVE fan of his and feel he would be perfect to fit into our squad.
