Manchester United 1 Chelsea 1 - Reactions, Arsenal fans turn on Havertz, Maresca sets Cole Palmer challenge, Colwill & Maresca a match made in heaven, News roundups, Much more...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 4th November 2024!
Morning all!
I do hope you all had a lovely weekend whatever you got up to. Plenty of fireworks and various things going on no doubt.
Chelsea also played on Sunday. We were up against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League. Unfortunately I can only see this as points dropped simply due to just how bad United were, they were there for the taking! Some of Chelsea’s players just didn’t really turn up though, and I find that a bit disappointing. The plus side is we did not lose, and we are now in fourth spot in the league, which is great really when you think about it.
You can grab my full thoughts, ratings, and reactions in here.
I then rounded up all the general Chelsea news from Sunday as well as Enzo Maresca’s post-match reactions in here. Contains other match reactions etc as well.
I also had a bunch of articles out before the game yesterday of course.
The first one is one on Enzo Maresca and Levi Colwill being a match made in heaven. They are perfectly suited to each other, the way Colwill plays and the way Maresca coaches. Read all about that in here.
The next one is on Maresca highlighting how Cole Palmer needs to deal with being man marked and targeted by the opposition now. I’m pleased he has spoken about this, but it’s not just on Palmer to combat it. More in here.
Finally, an entertaining one. It wasn’t long ago that Arsenal fans were thanking us for Kai Havertz. Now they are turning on him big time. The truth is, Havertz has never been that great, and it’s us who should be thanking Arsenal! Bit of a fun one in here.
Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll see you all on the next live blog from 8.30am today!
Peace, Si.
