Malo Gusto: Finally receiving the credit he deserves

He is the REAL DEAL..........

Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents,

This guy is absolutely incredible, the way he progresses and manipulates the ball is incredible. His recovery speed is excellent and his defensive ability is massively underrated.

Not only is he a top quality Right-Back, but he is a RIVAL to Reece James, not just an understudy. The biggest praise you can give this man is that we haven’t missed Reece when Gusto has been available and in the XI.

I am by no means slating Reece James, he is still our skipper and still the best Right Back in the world in my opinion, but it just shows how impressive Gusto has been.

I remember back to the end of last season when Felix Johnston spoke to fans of clubs where our players had been on loan and Lyon fans were happy that Gusto was leaving. BITTER, much?

Malo has already improved a lot this season and just keeps getting better and better match by match, Harry Brooks who is a coach and voices some very good opinions and facts on player had this to say about Malo just last week.

I have been looking through Malo’s stats which are simply insane at points, he ranks in the top 10% in Europe’s top 5 leagues (&UCL/UEL) for so many different metrics it is incredible. His passing stats in particular are top level, just his passing into the final third and in/around the penalty area for him to improve at the minute.

He doesn’t pass into the final third a lot generally because he is either already there when he receives the ball or he drives the ball into the third to cross or pass.

His defending stats are good but there are some areas where he can improve , he is only young its natural that he can improve on every aspect of his game.

His ball possession stats are actually frightening, he is so progressive and dynamic and ALWAYS involved with the play.
