Good Evening, Ladies and Gents,
Welcome back to the 23/24 season loan army report. This is a summary of what our loan players have been up to over the last week.
Remember I don’t include players who are out on loan with a Buy Option.
Lets get into it……
Gaga Slonina:
Another defeat for Gaga’s team this week but back to his usual self, making lots of saves and showing signs of good distribution albeit in a fairly weak side.
He has certainly been kept busy this season. He has a 2 in 3 save rate at 66.66% this season, which is pretty good.
Bashir Humphreys:
Bash was unavailable due to injury v Ipswich last weekend.
Tino Anjorin:
Tino is still injured, due back very soon.
Omari Hutchinson:
Omari carried on his fine form over the last week, Starting away to Swansea and registering an assist, then coming off the bench to grab a 90+5 winner to push Ipswich up to 3rd in the Championship level on points with Leeds.
He has been very clutch for them of late.

Harvey Vale:
Harvey returned from illness with a start and 45 minutes at home to Northampton at the weekend.
Charlie Webster:
Another unused sub role for Charlie this week, this is going under the radar as one of the worst loans of the season, a great experience and a maturing process for him but a real lack of minutes
Mason Burstow:
Mason started the last game and played 70 minutes v Birmingham away his manager has since been sacked…..again. Hopefully some continuity and some more minutes in the coming weeks.
David Datro Fofana:
Another 90 for Datro at home to Arsenal last weekend, unfortunately he could do nothing to prevent the 5-0 defeat. He did miss 2 half chances.
Angelo Gabriel:
A 35 minute cameo for Angelo in last weekends 3-1 home defeat to Lorient, he also picked up a yellow card, there was not much he could do to change the game with the score already being set once he entered the field.
Dion Rankine:
75 minutes for Dion last weekend away to Lincoln in a 1-0 defeat, its so nice to see him playing consistently at League 1 level.
Alex Matos:
55 minutes for Alex last weekend at home to Hull, not his best performance and the worst of his loan spell but that is only because he has set a really high bar from his early performances at the club, I am at Huddersfield’s game this weekend and will get to see him first hand.
Jamie Cumming:
Jamie got his first clean sheet and MOTM away to Wycombe at the weekend in a 0-0 draw, this midweek he featured in a 2-2 draw for v Northampton.
Eddie Beach:
Eddie is still absent at the minute and I believe he has been back at Cobham getting checked over.
Ian Maatsen:
Ian has been really good so far in Germany and as I have mentioned previously his defensive abilities are letting him down slightly at the minute and that shows in his disciplinary record with 4 yellow cards in 7 games so far.
On the other hand his performance on the ball has been brilliant.
Armando Broja
Armando was unavailable due to illness this weekend.
Andrey Santos
Andrey made his debut for Strasbourg at the weekend coming on for the last 11 minutes last weekend v Lorient, after having only trained twice before the game.
Similar to Angelo it was too late for Andrey to make a difference in the game.
Thanks for reading.
Luke Rushbrook
Maybe we are seeing why Ian Maatsen wasn’t trusted to play in his favourite position by Poch🤔🤔 great article as per normal. Thanks Luke
Thanks as always, Luke, one of my favourite weekly articles
