Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents,
Lets see what our loan army have been up to this week…….
Teddy Sharman-Lowe (Doncaster Rovers) - Goalkeeper;
“ contrasting results and performances from Teddy in the last week, a 3-0 battering by Chesterfield at home followed up by a 1-0 win, clean sheet and 7.5/10 against Barrow,
Ted Curd (Hampton & Richmond) - Goalkeeper;
A clean sheet and a 4-0 win for Ted last weekend. 4 clean sheets in 11 games so far.
Eddie Beach (Crawley Town) - Goalkeeper;
Still no appearance for Eddie.
Gaga Slonina (Barnsley) - Goalkeeper;
2 draws and 8 saves for Gaga in the last week, 8 saves from 11 shots on target is pretty good from Gaga, both home fixtures ended in score draws, with Stockport and Wycombe respectively.
Alfie Gilchrist (Sheffield United) - Right Back;
Alfie started and played 70 mins in the weekends 0-0 draw away at Portsmouth. He then came on for 33 minutes in last nighs 1-0 win over Swansea, a heavily rotated Sheff united side.
Dylan Williams (Burton Albion) - Left Back/Wing Back;
Dylan has continued his streak of starts and 90 mins over the last week with a further 2 x full 90 mins, away to Blackpool & Reading respectively, Burton are having a torrid time of things at the minute, life at Burton hasn’t started that well for former Chelsea U21 coach Mark Robinson. Hopefully they give him time to implement his ways on the team.
Aaron Anselmino (Boca Juniors) - Centre Back;
A full 90 for Aaron at the weekend, in Boca’s 2-0 defeat to belgrano, a decent performance from an individual perspective, walking away with a 7/10 but a poor result for Boca
Caleb Wiley (RC Strasbourg) - Left Back/Wing Back;
Caleb is still out with injury.
Andrey Santos (RC Strasbourg) - Centre Midfield;
A 1-0 win for our Strasbourg contingent with Andrey standing out yet again, he is really coming into his own this season, this is why I strongly advocated for his loan move to be extended this season.
Bashir Humphreys (Burnley) - Centre Back;
Back from suspension and back starting for Bash, he played the full 90 in both games over the last week, 0-0 draw away to Oxford and the 1-0 home win v Plymouth. He has accumulated a 7.4/10 in both games and has earnt some big praise from Burnley supporters.
Lesley Ugochukwu (Southampton) - Holding Midfield;
Lesley was dragged off at half time along with a few others after a dismal first half for the entire Southampton team against Bournemouth, unfortunately for Lesley Southampton improved a lot after a very angry Russel Martin half time speech, unlikely he retains his starting space away at Arsenal this weekend.
Armando Broja (Everton) - Striker;
Still injured.
Kendry Paez (Independiente del Valle) - No.10/Attacker;
Still gradually being introduced to games and his minutes being managed, just a 13 minute cameo for Kendry this week.
Estevao Willian (Palmeiras) - Right Winger;
Out injured currently, only minor.
Djordje Petrovic - (Strasbourg) - Goalkeeper;
3 out of 3 saves and a very solid performance for Djordje, his footwork seems to be improving and he has spoken this week about his desire to be Chelsea’s future no1, I really like the guy so I hope to see him improve further and further and be able to stake a claim going forward. I still have reservations that he can end up being world class.
Trevoh Chalobah (Crystal Palace) - Centre Back;
Back on the bench as an unused sub in the last game.
Ronnie Stutter (Burton Albion) - Striker;
Still injured.
Leo Castledine (Shrewsbury Town) - Attacking Midfield;
A couple of average games by Leo’s standards over the last week, a 1-1 draw at home to Rotherham with a 7/10 rating and then a 2-0 home defeat to Stockport saw him play relatively average with a 6/10. He played 74 minutes in each game.
Just to confirm I am not updating on Raheem Sterling or Kepa Arrizabalaga on purpose.
Thanks for reading.

Thanks as always Luke…. Great to see Djordje Petrovic do so well as I don’t think he did poorly for us
Thanks as always, Luke, one of my favourite columns
