Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents,
Lets see what our loan army have been up to over the last couple of weeks.
Teddy Sharman-Lowe (Doncaster Rovers) - Goalkeeper;
Teddy has had a brilliant couple of weeks making 12 saves from 14 shots on target across 3 separate games, getting 1 clean sheet and helping to extend his sides unbeaten run to 7 games.
Ted Curd (Hampton & Richmond) - Goalkeeper;
1 clean sheet for Ted in thelast 3 games, his side have 1 won, lost 1 and drawn 1 of the last 3 leaving them in mid-table.
Eddie Beach (Crawley Town) - Goalkeeper;
Eddie is still out injured currently.
Gaga Slonina (Barnsley) - Goalkeeper;
Slonina is currently injured
Alfie Gilchrist (Sheffield United) - Right Back;
Alfie has started 2 and was an unused sub in 1 of the last 3 fixtures, in the 2 he started he completed the full 90 minutes. He was MOTM again in Friday’s 1-0 win over Sunderland putting in another impressive performance, whilst having a steady yet less effective game against Coventry in the 2-2 draw the weekend before.
Dylan Williams (Burton Albion) - Left Back/Wing Back;
Dylan has had a slight knock in recent weeks, missing two games. He was back on the bench yesterday in Burton’s shock penalty defeat to non-league Tamworth. He came on with 10 minutes of the 90 to play, played the entirety of extra-time and didn’t have to take a penalty before his side were knocked out.
Aaron Anselmino (Boca Juniors) - Centre Back;
Aaron is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Caleb Wiley (RC Strasbourg) - Left Back/Wing Back;
Caleb returned to the starting 11 away to Nice last weekend but was unfortunately withdrawn with a Shoulder injury at half time after a really good first half, he missed the game this weekend against Micah Richards favourite team, Brest.
Andrey Santos (RC Strasbourg) - Centre Midfield;
Andrey is still putting in really good performances even if the results aren’t going Strasbourg’s way of late. He even captained the side away to Nice last weekend.
He has put in back to back 7/10 in away losses to Nice and Brest.
Bashir Humphreys (Burnley) - Centre Back;
Bash had 2 minimal Substitute appearances against Bristol City away and Coventry at home before forcing his way back into the 11 against Stoke away at the weekend, where he put in a really good performance in the 2-0 away win.
Lesley Ugochukwu (Southampton) - Holding Midfield;
Lesley came on just after half time in the narrow home defeat to league leaders Liverpool and had a good impact on the game and bought some control to Southampton’s midfield. Individual errors from the Goalkeeper and Right back lost Southampton that match.
He missed the squad at the weekend with a small knock and is obviously not eligible for this midweeks game to face his parent club.
Armando Broja (Everton) - Striker;
Still injured.
Kendry Paez (Independiente del Valle) - No.10/Attacker;
Kendry’s minutes are still being managed after a couple of minor knocks in the last few months, good man management from the IDV coach. 2 minor sub roles in the last couple of fixtures.
Estevao Willian (Palmeiras) - Right Winger;
A quieter last 2 fixtures for Estevao with just the 1 assist and and relatively quiet 7/10 performances in each match.
Djordje Petrovic - (Strasbourg) - Goalkeeper;
A few defeats in recent weeks for Strasbourg has kept Djordje quite busy having faced 13 shots on target in the last 2 games, making 8 saves.
Trevoh Chalobah (Crystal Palace) - Centre Back;
Trev is still playing lots of minutes in this Palace back 3.
Wondering if a potential ‘swap’ with Guehi could be on the cards, Palace will be desperate to keep Trev.
Ronnie Stutter (Burton Albion) - Striker;
Still on the sidelines currently.
Leo Castledine (Shrewsbury Town) - Attacking Midfield;
Full 90 for Leo last week at home to Birmingham in a game that bypassed him to be honest. His side lost 3-2.
Mike Penders (Genk) - Goalkeeper
As usual a bench role for Penders.
Just to confirm I am not updating on Raheem Sterling or Kepa Arrizabalaga on purpose.
Thanks for reading.
