Liam Rosenior's mentality is suited to Chelsea, Jarrad Brathwaite best CB option to sign, Blues face unprecedented problem in Sweden this week, Chelsea's form this season analysed, Much more....
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 30th April 2025!
Morning all,
Hump day is upon us, and Chelsea play football tomorrow!
We have our first leg of the Conference League semi-final over in Sweden, and there’s been an unprecedented issue that the players might have to deal with come up this week.
You can read all about that in here to kick things off today, but it looks like the playing surface might present some problems for the players. The old 3g debate, huh? Bit of a small preview for the game in this too.
A bit of analysing next, but not from me. There is a video in this here that dives into the form of Chelsea under Enzo Maresca this season and the differences between the first half and the second half. The video has had mixed reactions, but I actually think it’s pretty fair. You can watch it here as well as read my opinions on it.
Connected to that article really is my next piece speaking about Liam Rosenior of Strasbourg. I think that if Chelsea really want to continue this way of having a very young and very inexperienced manager, then Rosenior is probably your best bet. I think he will be our manager one day very soon anyway, so it’s worth watching the clips in this here and reading the text too!
Back to the centre back debates from this week with the news that came out suggesting Wesley Fofana could be sold this summer. Chelsea are on the hunt for new centre backs anyway, and I asked in some polls this week which one you’d prefer to sign out of out those linked the most. Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite came out on top! Read all about that in here as well as the voting results on which Chelsea centre backs you would sell.
Round up all your latest Chelsea news now from across a number of different outlets covering the last 24 hours in the same place here. Transfer rumours, videos, quotes, stats, interviews, the lot in this.
My parents are on holiday this week so I am without my helpers with Solly today. This means I’m really not sure how much I’ll be able to do on the live blog today but I’ll do as much as I can, it might be very little until I am back home later tonight and my Wife has finished work.
Peace, Si.
