Good Morning Ladies and gents,
My apologies, this article was due out yesterday (bare that in mind when reading) all bar a technical error from myself!
I want to pen a few quick words on Noni Madueke, in December there were a lot of rumours about noni being out of favour and potentially leaving Chelsea, either on loan or via a permanent transfer.
Those rumours were semi-squashed at the time but still it was an outcome we could have all seen arising.
Before the Luton game on the 30th December Noni had played just 154 minutes in the league and looked increasingly out of sorts and out of favour with Poch. We all know Poch had spoken to him about his attitude on and off the pitch (training pitch). In just the 3 PL games since the Luton match Noni has now played 155 minutes, one minute more in significantly less games.
Something must have changed as Noni is now being selected over the likes of Mudryk and Broja (who may or may not leave at the time of writing) so he has definitely bumped himself up the pecking order.
He has started to get more consistent and the one thing I have really noticed is his work rate, he has started to impact games going forward and contribute defensively which is great to see.
I am a fan of Noni, but I still have huge reservations if he is/will be Chelsea quality going forward. He needs to be more consistent and contribute to more goals, that is the starting blocks for him.
Please let me know your thoughts on Noni and where you see his future long term?
Thanks for reading

Don’t see him making it unfortunately. There’s plenty to like stylistically but he isn’t a killer, he isn’t reliable, and he leaves his full back exposed. There’s a passiveness about him. I’d move him and Mudryk on in the summer. Too much too soon for them. Only Nkunku and Palmer are Chelsea level. Get Chukwuemeka in the side with those two next game and see how that goes.
he is not chelsea quality... he is a mid table player.
