The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 26th July 2023!
Morning all!
Hope you’re all having a good week. Thee last couple of days have been dominated with Chelsea midfielder news, largely around Conor Gallagher and Moises Caicedo. And today I have articles out on both players.
We can begin with Caicedo, because I’ve seen many say that Chelsea should now walk away from that deal, but I disagree. I have many reasons why, and I detail them all in here. Also a bit of sourced news on potential alternatives at the bottom of this one.
We can move from Caicedo to Gallagher now, another player who is being largely debated amongst the fanbase right now. There’s been a lot of contrasting reports on the situation this week, so I’ve put out everything that I know from my trusted sources here.
A player who looks dead cert to be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer is Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has been a long time favourite of mine. I’ll be gutted to see him go, and it could have actually been quite different under Mauricio Pochettino for him. Some very interesting sourced news in this one here, including AC Milan interest coming in.
The final sourced article of the day is on Levi Colwill. Another player who seems to be in the news every day right now, which I just find very odd because Chelsea have made it VERY clear he is not for sale, and they are even in talks over a new contract. News on that here.
Finally, I have the latest live blog from yesterday here that covers all the goings on from the last 24 hours, and will also have any extra sourced info I get given throughout the day! This also covers Mauricio Pochettino and Reece James’ over night press conferences, and some fresh words on Moises Caicedo from Roberto De Zerbi!
This morning I will be recording a solo video Podcast before I head off into the festival. It will be a transfer news update Pod! So that’ll be with you all pretty soon!
Will Reyner will have a match report dropping in your emails on Thursday morning, with our next game against Newcastle being played in the very early hours again!
Live blog running today and I will be starting it and running it all morning, and then Luke will be taking over from me a little later in the day as I prep to head off into the festival. A reminder on that, me being away now, and the content schedule for this week here. Please read if you haven’t yet.
Peace, Si
