LATEST! Sources: Chelsea in for Fulham CB, Sources: Attacking midfielder plans, EXCL: Ben Jacobs transfer column, GK silence positive? Transfer news roundups....
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 25th July 2023!
Morning all,
It looks like Chelsea have been doing their best to work on deals behind the scenes of late, with the surprise moves coming out on Mohammed Kudus and Michael Olise over the weekend. I am sure many more surprises are being worked on and we have things in the pipeline.
But with all that said, I truly hope one of these silent deals that we are working on is still a new number one goalkeeper, because boy do we need it. It’s a drum that I will continue to bang, and I have voiced my opinion and concerns on the goalkeeper state of play here.
Going back to the likes of Olise and Kudus now, and I have a sourced article on the attacking midfielder plans here. The latest on those two, as well as Rayan Cherki and Gabri Veiga covered in this one. News of personal terms agreed too!
With our injury issues at the back, Chelsea are considering signing a new centre back this window now, and they have been drawing up the shortlist of names. I have three of those names in this one here, with a new name coming into the frame.
The knowledgeable Ben Jacobs also had his latest column for us out yesterday live and direct from our USA pre-season tour. Ben has been chatting to Mauricio Pochettino and some of the players, and he has the very latest transfer news on Caicedo, Olise, Veiga, Lavia, Lukaku, Ziyech, and so much more here.
And finally for today, here we have the live blog from yesterday that as always I highly recommend you have a scroll through. We cover all the latest Chelsea news across all the outlets in this, and also put out any other sourced news we get throughout the day.
And oh, as a bit of a bonus this week, we had the audio for the full Brighton post-match interview with Nicolas Jackson. Our own Ben Jacobs did the interview, so we have it in full for you here. Some bits in here that didn’t got out or get published anywhere!
The next live blog will be live from around 7am today on the home page!
Have a good one!
Peace, Si.
Si is it possible to do the link for todays live news/blog at the bottom of your newsletter each day the same as you do the link for yesterday’s please? It would make it ever so easy to find thanks
