The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 6th June 2023
Morning all,
It’s a jam-packed newsletter this morning, naturally after what was a manic weekend of Chelsea news despite us not playing.
Silly season is well and truly in full flow even though the transfer window has not opened yet. Chelsea are fully involved in all the dramas and rumours already, and we need to strap ourselves in once again for what is going to be a crazy and busy summer transfer window! Here we go indeed.
Let’s begin again with a sourced story on THE talk of the town right now, Sporting Lisbon’s Manuel Ugarte. This saga has been mad. Ugarte is now joining PSG, so where next for Chelsea? Sourced report on that here as well as news on Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Joao Palhinha, and James Maddison.
I have another sourced story now and that is on outgoings. A few people have been surprised as to why we haven’t yet heard anything solid on moves for the likes of Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech. But fear not, things are moving, and I explain all about that in here.
Ben Jacobs rounds up the hat-trick of exclusive and sourced news we have pumped out for you today with his latest transfer special column here. A very interesting one this week from Ben, with some top info inside. Remember, Ben was the one who broke the news of Ugarte to Chelsea breaking down.
My next article is a comment piece here about how important signing the perfect new spine of team is this summer. I sound like a broken record with this, but that’s how passionate I am that we HAVE to get this bit spot on this summer. I have faith that the club also knows this though.
Finally, the live blog was busy and up and running as always yesterday, so please do check on that here to get all your latest Chelsea news rounded up in one place.
Join me again today on the live blog from around 8am!
Have a good one!
Peace, Si.
