Morning all,

It’s been a weekend of football really despite Chelsea’s season being over sometime ago. It was the Champions League final on Saturday evening of course, with Manchester City taking the crown of Champions of Europe. You cannot help but be in complete awe of the incredible work Pep Guardiola has led at that club. Chelsea will be back though, I am absolutely sure of it.

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino managed his first game back in England last night, although it was not yet at Chelsea. Poch managed a World Xl team to a win against an England Xl for the SoccerAid game last night, and it was great to see him in the dugout!

Onto the stories now to kick off your week, and things are still simmering away ahead of the transfer window opening in two days time. Goalkeepers have come to the forefront over the weekend, and we have some sourced info and reports to address here on Inter Milan’s Andre Onana, and AC Milan’s Mike Maignan, two top goalkeeper targets being looked at by Chelsea.

Moises Caicedo as we know is also another top priority target for Chelsea this summer, and you can get the latest on that potential move here.

Chelsea might look to do a few deals with Inter Milan this summer. As mentioned above, there is interest in Onana, and there is also the Romelu Lukaku situation to be sorted out. But Chelsea also like striker Lautaro Martinez, although I’ve asked the question in here, is he really the striker that Chelsea should be prioritising and actually need?
