Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 1st May

Morning all,

Oh wow we’re in May already, how time flies when you’re having fun, right? Not sure how that’s happened though because Chelsea have ensured that absolutely none of us have had any fun at all this season, and thank god that we are now in the month when this season finally finishes. What a nightmare it’s been, easily one of the worst in our history so far. It’ll soon be time to chalk it off and pretend it never happened, then go again next season.

Until then, we have a lot to sort out with our new manager to be confirmed and bought in, a massive summer window to get spot on, as well as more games to play to see this season out. I’ve had a lot of questions sent to me about the ‘silence’ around Mauricio Pochettino and the fact he hasn’t been announced yet. Don’t worry, I, and every other top source fully expect him to still become the next Chelsea manager (he BETTER be), and I have sourced info and opinion on that here.

On that as well, I’ve also covered the very latest that all the rest of the outlets are reporting on Poch to Chelsea in here, Sunday’s Chelsea news report. Also features any other news, rumours, and quotes from yesterday.

The next sourced story is on the future of Christian Pulisic, who is expected to be one of many that Chelsea will listen to offers for this summer. But there is a new club showing interest, and that could bring a potential swap deal that benefits Chelsea. Full story here.
