Hope you’ve had a good week as we hit Friday again! This time next week the excitement for the new Premier League season will really be kicking in! After a successful pre-season for Chelsea, the real hard work begins against Liverpool next weekend! You can pick YOUR starting Xl for that game here!

Our last pre-season game ended in a 1-1 draw with Dortmund, who posed a more difficult opposition. But Chelsea could have easily won this game by a few goals. I’ve penned my debrief on that game here which goes through each individual player and how I thought they did.

Let’s talk transfers now as we head into August some more. The biggest talking point remains the midfield, and I had lots of ideas on this that I wanted to pen down here. I’ve got sourced news in this on Moises Caicedo, but also some opinions on Reece James playing in midfield, Tyler Adams being a target, Andrey Santos staying and being used by us, and more.

And finally for the articles this week, some words on our interest in Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic here. A bit of sourced info in this as well as my opinion on the proposed swap deal for Romelu Lukaku. Updated info in this one.
