The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 9th January 2024!
Morning all,
So the last couple of days are pretty hectic for me. I had some things on yesterday afternoon that kept me away from my laptop for long periods. But I’ve done my best to roundup all the news when I got home last night. I have everything covered from the last 24 hours in here. This also includes every word said by Mauricio Pochettino ahead of tonight’s League Cup semi final against Middlesbrough, as well as the latest on Victor Osimhen and much more.
Staying on that subject, I have my full match preview, team news, predictions, head to head, current form, and much more to go through in here.
I do have content today of course as well as the above preview and news roundups. I wrote about Armando Broja who has been struggling with confidence since his injury return. There was some interesting comments from Mauricio Pochettino and Broja himself to hone in on. And I’ve also detailed why I am keeping some faith in Broja here.
Poor old Luke had food poisoning yesterday (it’s all going on) so he wasn’t able to jump on with his usual article - sending get well wishes to Luke! So with Luke out of action, I was hoping to get Seun in for his usual deep tactical analysis but unfortunately he wasn’t around to do that. But fear not, today I’ll have two sourced articles on Paulo Dybala and one more ‘new’ striker name! They will be out around 1pm today!
And finally, an article on why Kai Havertz was never the ‘best on earth’ despite his song! I was so shocked when Arsenal paid £65m to sign him, and I see this as one of the best deals our new ownership have done. I detail all that and more in here.
Right, I’ll fire up the live blog from the usual time today! See you all there ahead of the big match tonight!
Peace, Si
Si your doing a Sterling job (no pun intended) we all have a life thanks for the content and a focus on the team we all love (sometime to despair)!
