Haaland talks started, Donnarumma chances increased

As I revealed on our Podcast last week, I have some exclusive news on Chelsea’s pursuits of both Erling Haaland and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Chelsea have had an offer on the table for Donnarumma for some weeks now, but he is also considering an offer to stay at AC Milan.

His contract there runs out this summer and he has been free to speak with other clubs since January. I am unaware if he is talking to any other clubs, but they have certainly listened to Chelsea’s offer.

It has been widely reported that the Italian international will stay at Milan, and of course this is more than possible as I do believe this to be his preference.

However, right now the current deal being offered by Milan is nowhere near what Donnarumma and his agent (Mina Raiola) will accept, and that is how it stays right now.

This increases the chances of him choosing Chelsea, but of course it is far from done in any sense of the word yet.

This brings me onto my next subject, Erling Haaland, who shares the same agent.

So Chelsea have avenues open with Raiola regarding a number of potential targets, Haaland is one of them.

Informal talks have begun with Chelsea, Raiola, and Dortmund, regarding what sort of package would be accepted from all parties if Chelsea were to attempt to sign Haaland this summer.

I believe that the package Raiola would ask for is not a problem, but I unfortunately have no further information on whether Dortmund would entertain an offer, or whether Haaland would accept a move to Chelsea.
