Fulham 0 Chelsea 2: The Debrief, Ben Jacobs EXCLUSIVE Chelsea column, Sources: Inside Chelsea - internal concerns or no? Mudryk's improvements can pave the way, And much more...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 3rd October 2023!
Morning all,
It was another weekday match for Chelsea last night as we made the very short trip to neighbours Fulham in the Premier League match in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
The Blues came out on top after bossing the first half at least and winning the game 2-0. What a great feeling it was, especially when we got the two goals within quick succession. Really encouraging stuff.
I have my full match debrief here where I evaluate the game on the whole, and go through each individual player and rate their performances.
Next up, we had Ben Jacobs put out his latest exclusive weekly Chelsea column for us yesterday and you can read that in full here. Plenty of inside info in this one this week and Jacobs also gives his views on a number of current Chelsea situations.
The Athletic put out an article yesterday and I wanted to basically put out what I know on the many situations spoken about. You can see the key points from their article on yesterday’s live blog here, which also contains all the rest of your Chelsea news from yesterday in it’s entirety. But what I have heard on current situations at Chelsea is a little different, and you can get my sourced article on that here.
For the last article of this newsletter, I have honed in on Mykhailo Mudryk’s recent performances and we are finally seeing some good signs. If this continue it could be used as the blueprint to other young players at the club. But of course, I am also not getting ahead of myself, far from it. I explain all here.
OK, that’s it for now. But do join me on the live blog this morning from 8am. I expect it to be very lively today as it always is after a match day!
Have a good one!
Peace, Si.
