Frank Lampard SHOULD be in boardroom role here, Chelsea will finish top 6 & had 6/7 out of 10 window, Maresca out calls already are embarrassing, Should Chelsea still go for Victor Osimhen? More...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 4th September 2024!
Morning all,
Welcome to hump day!
We will be seeing plenty of Chelsea players in action this week and next week, despite it being an international break. I am particularly excited to watch Portugal play, with Pedro Neto, Renato Veiga, and Joao Felix in tow. I’m also excited to watch England move forward post Gareth Southgate and seeing how Lee Carsley sets them up.
Best place to start today is to grab ALL your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here from yesterday’s live blog. This covers EVERYTHING and is most up to date.
The Score jumped on for us again yesterday with another top article. This time, he has looked into the very stupid ‘Maresca out’ shouts after the Crystal Palace draw on Sunday in here. Admittedly I didn’t see any of these, maybe because I’m not on X hardly at all these days, or maybe because my timeline is nice and cleansed!!
I have a new message for the Chelsea owners - Bring Frank!! Quite simply, I don’t understand why Frank Lampard is not in a boardroom role at Chelsea - a recruitment squad building role. He’s once again spot on with his opinions on Chelsea this week, and the man should be listened to and be in a decision making role at our club, the club he adores. Much more on that in here.
So, concluding our transfer window review and season predictions for Chelsea now. You all heard and saw my thoughts and predictions earlier this week, and now it’s time to see yours! I have the results from our SPTC community polls in here, some interesting responses!
Finally for this newsletter, Luke is up! News that Victor Osimhen is ‘still appreciated’ by Chelsea has led our man to ask should we still go for the Napoli striker in January in here?
See you all on the next live blog from around 8.30am today!
Peace, Si.
