Exclusive transfer updates from Ben Jacobs, Which striker do YOU want in January? Petrovic or Sanchez? Where are the goals coming from (and where will we finish)? Full news roundups, Much more...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: 2nd January 2024!
Morning all,
We are in those next few weeks where we will be constantly deleting 2023 and remembering that it is actually 2024 now!
I realise some of you might be going back to work today after some time off for Christmas and New Year, so hopefully the live blogs and following them along in the current transfer window will help get you all through this week - it’s always a tough one!
I’ll be here with the constant content though, and we have some bumper articles for you all today.
With the transfer window opening yesterday, it was perfect timing to chat with our main insider Ben Jacobs to get some updates on exactly what plans Chelsea have for this month. What are the priorities? Who will we sign? Who will we sell? Find all that out and more in here.
I also wanted to get you all involved in the window with a set of polls and an opinion article here. In this I am asking you all to pick which striker you want to see arrive at Chelsea this month, and/or whether you think we should wait until the summer instead?
My next article is also asking for your input as well as giving mine. Mauricio Pochettino will have another big decision to make very soon when goalkeeper Robert Sanchez returns to full fitness. Will he come straight back in, or will Djordje Petrovic keep his place? Does Petrovic deserve to keep his place? All that and more in here.
The Score’s articles are coming in thick and fast and he has his latest out for today’s newsletter. This is actually a follow up to one of his other very popular articles of late and once again, a superb read here.
And finally, we have a half live blog and half news roundup report yesterday as I had some things on in the afternoon. But as always, we have covered ALL your latest Chelsea news from the last 24 hours in here, with the transfer rumours now starting to ramp up.
Right, normal service resumes again and the live blog will be up and running from around 8am this morning. See you all there.
Peace, Si.
