The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 19th February 2024!

Morning everyone!

No sign of any baby arrival yet! So that means I’m still here as normal for now, taking it minute by minute at this point! We are seeing the midwife later today for our routine check, so we will see what happens next (other than just playing the waiting game).

It does mean that I was around and able to watch Chelsea’s impressive performance at Manchester City on Saturday night. I was very pleased once again with the team spirit and character shown by the players to show resilience and also a lot of quality against the champions of England. A couple of sourced/exclusive articles next. With all the noise of Victor Osimhen now being targeted by PSG, what does that mean for Chelsea’s striker pursuit plans this summer? Well, I have all the news on that as well as an exclusive new name arriving onto Chelsea’s striker shortlist in here 👀. The next sourced article is based around what is going on in our recruitment department right now. There has been rumours of new appointments happening and a sort of restructure. I’ve had more info given to me on all of this over the weekend, which I have delivered here in the form of a sourced article.

The Score has written a fantastic article next basically on Mauricio Pochettino and why he was hired, but why he might not be the man to take Chelsea forward in the long term, purely because he has not been backed in the transfer market and this squad has not been built by him.
