Chelsea announced Enzo Maresca as their new head coach yesterday, less than two weeks after parting ways with Mauricio Pochettino. It was a quick turnaround by the club, which was great and I applaud that.
Will I be applauding the hire of Maresca though? Only time will tell on that one. It’s a bold and brave hire for sure, and I truly hope it pays off. Maresca has my full backing as the latest Chels addition!

We had our inside Chelsea column from Ben Jacobs out yesterday too which you can check out in full here if you haven’t already. I asked Ben to preview Maresca’s arrival and why Chelsea have gone for him, with some very intriguing snippets, as well as preview Chelsea’s plans for the summer transfer window, with some even more intriguing snippets in 👀.
I also had another sourced article out yesterday, this one was on Enzo Fernandez who wants to play at the Olympic Games this summer. I don’t think the club/Enzo Maresca will allow it, but will that cause problems now for the midfielder? Full story on that here.

You will remember some of his passionate articles from last year, with many enjoying them. His latest is a season review and can be found here.
