EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea lay down groundwork for striker who could even join BEFORE Club World Cup

Yesterday we bought you the news of a new goalkeeper name that Chelsea are looking at for the summer, as well as interest returning for one England international centre back!

Moving to the other end of the pitch now and the striker position, which will once again be looked at this summer. I’m fed up of calling it the priority, even though it is, because we consistently keep failing to address it.

However, perhaps now it has finally and truly become the priority of the summer, and Chelsea have laid down some ground work to sign one name who they even want to get in to play at the Club World Cup if all goes to plan.

Now call me sceptical but I’d be shocked if they manage to do that with the window opening just days before the Club World Cup begins in the middle of June, but this is what our best SPTC source is saying.
