The Blues still working on new defenders

Some big news that’s come in this weekend as Chelsea look to bring in at least one new defender this window.

There is still a good chance that they sign two new defenders as well, with a focus on Marc Cucurella cover as well as a new out and out centre back being wanted. Chelsea do have players in the squad who they feel can adequately cover Cucurella though, including Josh Acheampong.

The club have looked into Jorrel Hato again last week and that one could easily advance at any time.

But as well as that, Chelsea have reached out to the agents of one Premier League centre back this weekend.
