Evening all,

Welcome to the latest episode of The SPTC Podcast with Jai Mcintosh and Simon Phillips!

Tonight we had insider Ben Jacobs join us for a Chelsea transfer special!

We covered A LOT in a short space of time, and me jumping off and allowing Ben the floor by himself was what allowed that!

In this order:

  • Right winger: Looking at alternatives to Michael Olise

  • Samu Omorodion: Chelsea really like Samu and have had 2 bids rejected - not over

  • Jonathan David interest to heat up now. Price is around £25m

  • Why it’s so quiet at the minute

  • Summerville, Mitoma, Williams

  • Adeyemi enquiry made

  • Osimhen wants 250k-a-week wages. Chelsea still keen?

  • Tosin has been promised enough game time to pick Chelsea

  • Loan quota and what it means - many players might have to stay and be part of Maresca squad. He wants 25 man squad but might need to accommodate 27

  • Preston most active for Gilchrist. Leeds and Como keen

  • Maresca has data of all players going down the youth pyramid at Chelsea

  • Broja could go quickly, might not travel to USA

  • Lukaku could move if he agrees to Saudi, depends if he’s waiting on Napoli

  • Outgoings will gather force now

  • MUCH more!
