EXCL: Fresh meetings after City loss sees transfer push, John Obi Mikel fumes at owners, The vision was Real Madrid, so why mirror Dortmund? Luke Rushbrook on SD's, Updates on Mathys Tel, Much more...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 29th January 2024!
Morning all,
I hope you are having a good week so far. It’s been a busy window in terms of rumours, but very quiet in terms of actually putting their money where the rumours are!
Maybe these last days of the window brings some big dramas and maybe we finally sign a striker? More just hope than anything else.
Anyway, you can find out the latest on our transfer plans for this week and weekend in my exclusive article that I put out yesterday morning here. As always, things could easily have changed a lot since I wrote this one, but it hones in on meetings after the Manchester City defeat and Enzo Maresca’s desires for the squad and this window.
The live blog was up and running yesterday as always, and that is where you will find all the latest and fresh transfer news and what happened across the last 24 hours. Get all that info in here. The latest on Mathys Tel to Chelsea in this!
I have both The Score and Luke Rushbrook in tow today. I bought my crew. The first one from The Score is detailing how we were sold the Real Madrid vision dream, yet they are delivering Borussia Dortmund. Another great article calling things out in here. He’s been on fire recently, let’s hope it makes a difference because he is just one of MANY Chelsea fans feeling this way.
And just like what I said about The Score becoming more and more annoyed with our operations over the last two weeks, Luke has also been one of the most positive and balanced people in our community, but even he has had enough now. Luke has given his views on the sporting directors and their failures in here.
Speaking of calling things out, has anyone listened to John Obi Mikel’s latest Podcast!? Yikes, the guy has GONE IN on the owners! He is fuming!! But this time I think he’s gone too far and his latest comments have actually been way too much. I like that he does call things out and he has made many great points recently, but these quotes in here are not it in my opinion, even if his intentions are right.
Today is Wednesday so as always, I will be starting the live blog but wont be on it until after midday and even then I wont be on it much, just few and far between with posting as I have my boy all day whilst the Wife is working. I’ll do my very best as always.
Peace, Si.
Thanks Si. Transfer rumours are a bit like Xg’s there is nothing there really. It’s amazing we are getting to the end of another transfer window and we are still missing the same players we have wanted for years.
