Chelsea have reignited their interest in a former centre back target, sources have told us over the weekend.

As we know, this summer is going to be fairly busy once again in terms of mainly outgoings, but there will also be arrivals.

January was super quiet purely because of a lack of opportunities and the club not wanting to panic in the market or rush into anything. The summer window is much longer and as I reported last week, things are moving in that now and plans are shaping up. I still believe a lot will depend on what sort of player sales we can do, but there will absolutely be sales.

Names are being looked at all over the pitch and as multiple outlets have also reported, a new centre back is going to be one of the positions that Chelsea are likely to sign in at the end of the season.

We have been linked with many names, and our shortlist, just like for a new striker, will be large and feature a wide variety of different options.
