The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Friday 7th June 2024!
Morning all,
Welcome to Friday once again and your final SPTC newsletter of the week!
It’s been a pretty dramatic week with some things happening in the market and Chelsea making their moves for the summer window.
The club are looking to get some moves done quite early doors, but we know that it is never going to be just as simple as that.
This brings me to my first story of this newsletter, Chelsea’s pursuit of Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig. The Blues have competition, and SEVEN clubs have a personal terms offer on the table for him - he might even still stay at his club. There’s plenty of detail in this exclusive on Sesko to Chelsea in here. This news was also confirmed by Fabrizio Romano last night :)
Get all the latest noise on transfer rumours and much more in yesterday’s live blog here, covering all your Chelsea news from the last 24 hours in the same place.
The next sourced article is on the futures of Raheem Sterling and Noni Madueke, and the club plans for wingers going into next season. They have a plan coming together, but it could change. Much more on that in here.
Conor Gallagher looks more likelier than ever to now be sold by the club this summer, and I might be in the minority here, but I’m actually OK with that if it does happen. I explain why and ask you your view in here.
Finally, Luke is back on today after a couple days off for a wedding! He may or may not have had a sore head yesterday! You can peep his latest in full here.
That’s it for this week, I’ll be back on the site on Sunday, unless anything big goes on and then I’ll jump on the Substack App chat section to report!
Oh and by the way as I know I’ll be asked - I’ve not yet had confirmation from sources that we are interested in Julian Alvarez of Manchester City. That doesn’t mean we aren’t interested, and the local source in Argentina who reported it last night is VERY good for Argentine news - so it probably is true. I’m just saying I am yet to have it confirmed (or denied) on my side yet. I’ll update accordingly if/when I have anything on it.
Have a great weekend!
Peace, Si.
Olise follows two chelsea twitter accounts. Could be a reach but don’t remember seeing that before?
Si have you heard anything about the Alvarez story? Are we really making a move for him?
