The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 15th January 2025!
Morning all,
As well as all the madness of the transfer window, we had a Chelsea match day yesterday.
The Blues faced up against in-form side Bournemouth in our latest Premier League game at Stamford Bridge last night. It was a tale of two halves and Chelsea missing a host of chances but all in all, it was not good enough at all.
You can grab my full thoughts, ratings, and conclusion in here!
I’d recommend heading to the live blog from yesterday here next due to how these transfer news stories have been coming in thick and fast, and this is where you will find all the latest updated news and general updates on Chelsea!
I put out THREE sourced transfer news stories yesterday with some situations really starting to brew up now.
First of all, what our sources have heard about a potential move to sign Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich this window, and Bayern’s interest in Christopher Nkunku. We actually exclusively reported Chelsea’s interest in Tel on this side back in February 2024 and then revealed an approach in the summer. So the interest is historic, and The Blues are back in for him now. All the details and extra info in here.
New approaches were made by Chelsea to Crystal Palace on Monday as the two clubs held talks regarding both Marc Guehi and Trevoh Chalobah. The new contacts mean Chelsea are now really pushing to sign Guehi this month. Much more on that and the full story via our sources in here.
And finally, another exclusive report from our sources on attempts to bring Liam Delap in from Ipswich Town THIS MONTH! I can really see this one heating up you know, with fresh contact made to his agents on Monday. Something potentially brewing, so do check out the full details on that in here.
See you all on the next live blog from 8.30am this morning! What will today bring!?
Peace, Si.
