Chelsea have made new enquiries this week in an attempt to sign a new defender in the up coming January transfer window.

The Blues are struggling with numbers at the back due to long term and short term injuries and will try again in the winter window to bring in a new centre back, just as they did in the summer window.

They of course failed in their attempts to sign a new centre back in the summer and turned attentions and priorities to the attack. But this is a decision that is now coming back to haunt the decision makers at the club.
